HBSA Hospital Radio is a registered Scottish charity (SC017119) and relies on a combination of membership fees from its presenter/members, donations from the public and show sponsorship from community minded local businesses.

HBSA does not get any financial support from the health authority (but they very generously waive any charges for being in the building) and does not receive any backing from East Ayrshire Council or any other government department.
HBSA has insurance and licensing costs to meet every year as well as maintenance and replacement of equipment etc. It currently costs over £2,000 per year just in running costs with no maintenance or repairs to run the station. Any donations of any size will always be most gratefully received. Additionally, anyone willing to take part in any charity event (fun run, etc.) would be most welcome to do so. If you are interested in contributing to HBSA in any way, please get in touch with us through our CONTACT page, or drop by the studios to see us.
One of the best ways to help fund HBSA Radio is to sponsor a show. We have some very good value show sponsorship deals, and this way you help to support us and we get the chance to help your business or organisation, click HERE to find out more.
HBSA Radio’s accounts are not private and anyone who wishes to see them should contact us stating why they wish to see them.
