HBSA Hospital Radio

Hi Everyone.
As we are in lockdown right now HBSA is only a recorded/voice-tracked service being operated from home. However, if you have friends or relatives in our hospital then message us here or through all the ways listed on our website so we can put out a message to them.
The idea will be to record the messages late in the evening and then schedule them in for 11am the next day giving you time to let people know we have a message for them. Please don’t pick songs as we aren’t quite able to do that right now and there is no need for requests for the NHS staff or key workers as they will get a mention each time.
Please put as much detail in as you can, name, ward number, who is asking for them etc. PM us here or go to www.hbsaradio.com and use any of the contact methods. You can listen in at www.hbsaradio.com/live or on your smart speaker or our apps and if you have any questions or comments then fire away. We would really love to let people know they have not been forgotten during this lockdown. (email - hbsa.studio@gmail.com txt- 07909800884)

Remember that during the lockdown our recorded/voicetrack service is on air 24/7 and again today we're adding some extra new content.
From 7pm tonight you can hear a special playlist of blues tracks compiled by Sandy Brown followed at 8pm by a show from Scott O'Hare (pictured here) which features unsigned local artists - many of whom have been show guests of Scott's.
As ever you can hear these on Hospedia CH1 in Crosshouse and online at www.hbsaradio.com/live
Stay well everyone.

Calling all JAZZ fans.
We have a special show on HBSA for you tonight.
HBSA presenter Sandy Brown (pictured here with Jen McLaren his usual co-host) has put together a playlist of his favourite 40 Jazz tracks and we have stitched it all together into a show to go out tonight at 8.00pm (Tues 31st).
You can find all the ways to listen in at www.hbsaradio.com/live and of course it will be on Channel 1 on all 500 bedside terminals in our hospital.
We will continue to try and make the service as diverse and interesting as possible while following all measures needed in these difficult times.
Stay safe everyone.
